I’m published!

I’m excited to share that one of my underwater photos is featured on the inside cover of a science journal – Metallomics, accompanying a paper on iron in kelp. It was licensed by the authors of the paper and modified to relate to their study. Here’s a link to the full journal paper:  Surface binding, localization and storage of iron in the giant kelp Macrocystis pyrifera. I’m a big fan of science and the scientific method, so while it’s not the flashiest place to be featured, it’s pretty darn cool. It’s also great that they are studying kelp, something very important to our local cold water ecosystems.
